Since April 2022, Shirong Huang has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Materials Science and Nanotechnology, TU Dresden. His research interest includes the development of two dimensional (2D) materials-based intelligent electronic nose and gas sensors, signal processing, and understanding of gas sensing mechanism via molecular dynamics simulations. He received his Ph.D. degree on the topic “Graphene-based chemiresistive nanosensor: from gas detection to electronic olfaction” in April 2022 in TU Dresden, Germany. Prior to joining TU Dresden, his research work mainly focused on carbon nanomaterial synthesis and their application as thermal management materials in high power electronic device in Shanghai University, China, where he got his master degree in April 2014. He obtained his bachelor degree on Mechanical Engineering in Northwest A&F University, China.
